First time? Scuba diving in Kaş
Honestly: the sea decides which site gets dived on which day. The notes are a guide; the centre sets the day's route based on wind and sea conditions. No specific site is promised for a specific day.
The question we hear most

Which site will I dive?

Short answer: it depends on your level and the day's conditions. First-timers dive a sheltered, shallow bay such as Hidayet or Limanağzı; certified divers get two sites picked for the day's best conditions. The plane wreck and the deep parts of the Canyon call for advanced experience. Tell the centre your level and wishes; for safety, they make the final route call.

About the sites

Who can dive the plane wreck?
The plane wreck (C-47 Dakota) sits at 22 m; because of its depth it calls for advanced certification and experience. If you hold Open Water, gaining deep-dive experience with the Advanced course first is the usual advice. The cargo bay is entered only with a guide.
Where do first dives take place?
At sheltered, shallow, calm sites: Hidayet Bay and Limanağzı are the Kaş classics. Which bay it is gets decided by the centre based on that day's wind and sea.
What level does the Canyon need?
The Canyon runs from 5 m down to 40 m; its upper part suits certified divers, the deep walls and passages call for advanced experience. Tell the centre your level; the dive is planned at a depth that fits your card.
How is the visibility?
Kaş is known for some of Türkiye's clearest water; in season visibility is very good most days. Still, the sea is the sea, and conditions vary day to day.
Can I choose the site in advance?
Do tell the centre your wishes; they're taken into account in the day's program where possible. For your safety, the final call is made by the centre based on wind and sea; no specific site is promised for a specific day.
