Maceraya provides a free information and guidance service for people who want to dive in Fethiye, and publishes a region guide for Kaş. This page explains openly how we work and where our income comes from.
We do two jobs. First, we explain: the regions, the programs and what actually drives the price, honestly and without hype. Second, we connect: we suggest the partner dive centre that fits your level and plan and pass your request on. The partner centre reserves your spot; we send you the meeting details, and if plans change we coordinate the new plan with the centre. The diving itself (boat, equipment, instructors) is organised and delivered by the partner centres.
Nothing. Our information and guidance service is completely free for you; you never pay us under any name. You pay the full dive fee directly to the partner centre that runs the dive. No payment passes through us.
Our income comes from the marketing and secretarial services we provide to partner dive centres; those services are invoiced to the centres. We take no commission or fee from you. That's why we never 'sell' you to a centre; our long-term reputation depends on guiding you to the genuinely right one.
There are many dive centres in Fethiye, and not all operate to the same standard. We only work with centres at SSI Diamond level or the equivalent standard in the PADI/CMAS systems. If we route you to a centre, it's because it clears that bar.
